The start of the OhSoWow Vintage experience began on a sunny autumn Sunday in Brick Lane. The vibrant Old Spitalfields Market and the lively Sunday Upmarket on Brick Lane are bursting at the seams with quirky stalls showcasing the most classic vintage trends. Stylish fascinators and dainty feathered head-dresses designed by
bellapacella provide a sumptuous treat for the glamorous lady within. The exciting juxtaposition of modern street style and Vintage glamour infuses the eclectic vibe that reverberates throughout East London. With shops like, Beyond Retro and Absolute Vintage holding up the more commercial side to the vintage swing in fashion interests and small businesses and stalls that fill the markets, the vintage lover is really spoiled for choice. I managed to take some "stealth" photographs of some of our finds (I say "stealth" due to the undercover nature in which they were captured, it turns out not many people like cheeky snappys to be taken in their shops! so please forgive the blurry shots) just to give you a little taster of what's out there.
Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair is another great haunt in Bethnal Green held every now and again in a big hall recreating the community hall fetes of old.
